Lock the Flashing Properly

Cover the screw head with the roofing cement it will lock the screw and prevent water leakages.
Though the flashings are weather-resistant and water resistant, still there are chances of metal corrosion in the flashing. What you can do is cut a piece of flashing where there is metal corrosion, and cover flashing with the roofing cement.
